Welcome to another thrill packed installment of a podcasting maxi-series called Moving Kryptonian Images: The Live Action and Animated Adventures of Superman! The purpose of this series is to celebrate the release of the new Superman film, written and directed by James Gunn and starring David Corenswet as Clark Kent/Superman, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor! This time out I am joined by Steve Glosson, who is not only one of my oldest friends in podcasting but also the host of Geek Out Loud, to talk about Superman The Movie. What can be said about this film that hasn't been said before? I'm sure we don't break any new ground or uncover some fascinating new angle on the themes of this film, but we do go over the things we love about it and, oddly enough, the few criticisms that I have for the movie. I also included one or two fun bits of audio from the movie's original network premiere. More than anything it's two middle-aged men gushing over a film that helped define their younger days.
