In this episode, Sarah and I discuss her experience in case management, project coordination, community engagement, policy, advocacy and management roles, within the migrant and settlement services sector. Her work has included supporting survivors of human trafficking and slavery, refugees, people seeking asylum, and individuals with complex mental health needs. Sarah also teaches undergraduate and post-graduate Social Work university students, focusing on social justice, human rights and cross-cultural social work. She has studied and worked both domestically and internationally, and has a particular interest in the intersection between social work, mental health, and forced migration.
