Corporal Salvador Oldrati was involved in an officer involved shooting September 14th 2021. Corporal Oldrati was face to face with an armed subject who pointed a gun and him and Corporal Oldrati did what he was trained to do and eliminated the threat. The subject ended up being the homeowner who called in a fake call that there were two armed subjects in his yard and then pointed the gun at police when they arrived. The shooting was cleared as justified based on the circumstances and Corporal Oldrati returned to duty. 20 months after the shooting the new Democrat Attorney General of New Jersey indicted Corporal Oldrati for murder.
