Episode 9 – The Torment of Tantalus

Newly discovered top secret files from the Pentagon reveal more of the history of the Stargate and footage of it’s activation as one intrepid guy journeys through the gate which leads Daniel back to Catherine Langford to find answers to questions that had never been asked. This is a entertaining episode, some funny moments yet reveals the scope of Daniels desire for knowledge and the belief that is a reason to exist. Introducing another person from the Stargate movie gives the TV versions a little more backbone and while Catherine is played by a different actress it’s no big deal after all Daniel is not Spader.
