Episode 9: Wait, He’s Santa? And He’s Sexy?

Welcome back to I Reckon I’ll Read It, a podcast where two Okie gals talk books, share recs, and don’t hold back on their mighty big opinions. Join Beccah and Summer in some good-old-fashioned book talk.  This week, we kick things off with another Reading Roundup: two books we’ve finished, two we’re currently reading, and two that are up next. In this episode, we dive straight into the Christmas season with a festive Spur-of-the-Moment Question and some holiday recs! Summer updates us on her Lord of the Rings journey, and we wrap things up with a book-themed “Naughty or Nice” Spotlight Segment that really exposes just how questionable our reading habits really are.  Books We Mentioned:  Second Story Books 2:15- Emma, Jane Austen 2:41- A Letter to the Luminous Deep, Sylvie Cathrall 3:22- Mate, Ali Hazelwood 3:37- Merry Little Bookshop, Ali Brady  3:45- The Little Book of Winter: A Cozy Guide to a Season of Comfort and Happiness, Brittany Viklund 4:08- Meet Me Under the Mistletoe, Jenny Bayliss Spur of the moment question:  5:30- Beach Read, Emily Henry 6:00- Quicksilver; Brimstone, Callie Hart 6:33- Emma, Jane Austen 6:50- A Court of Thorns and Roses, Sarah J.
