Episode 9: We have to let you go.

A year ago, my life was turned upside down. I heard the words that nobody wants to hear, "We're sorry, We have to let you go." Nine of us lost our jobs that day. I was lucky and given a job with our Mexican branch of the company. In retrospect, I'm glad I am where I am today, even if that moment felt horrible. This episode talks about this past year and the ups/downs of my career yet how being let go was what I needed to realize what I want to pursue and hold onto in my life. And how the reflections over the last year have helped me grapple with our current reality. Even though we were thrown into these new circumstances without a choice, sometimes that’s what you need to realize what you want.
