Episode 9: When Trauma Hits, Habits Matter Most

from Empowered in Health · host Erin Trier

In this episode, I talk about how habits can carry us one direction or the other when life gets hard, heavy and unpredictable. Our family recently went through an unexpected traumatic experience and while I continue to process, I wanted to share WHY self-awareness related to our choices truly matters. As a Mom of 4 kids, I'm learning every single day that my daily choices matter to my kids. Not only because it can determine the energy I have for our day to day life, but it also showcases the example of how I want them to learn how to take care of themselves too. I am a major work in progress on this - but the older I get, the more I'm learning and the more I'm pulling myself out of the "pit" faster and faster.
