In this episode, Rachel visits with Dr. Mahesh Nair, an associate professor of Meat Science at Colorado State University. We bonded over our mutual frustration surrounding the ad campaigns that crop up on The Facebook comparing a package of grocery store packaged ground beef, and a vacuum packed, direct to consumer-type pound of ground and the accompanying claim that "their" beef is better than that available in the store. It's crap and Mahesh is going to tell you how to shut that argument down in two words. He's my fave.
