Episode 90: La Liga debut to remember for Christantus Uche & more silverware for Boniface & Tella as season kicks off!

In this episode, I review the first game week of the 2024/25 season and how Nigerian players across Europe fared in the weekend fixtures. I touched on impressive performances in the Premier League by Joe Aribo & Wilfred Ndidi respectively I also spoke on Ademola Lookman’s transfer link to PSG & Fisayo Dele-Bashiru’s impressive debut for Lazio in Serie A as the league continues to be a good omen for Super Eagles players Osimhen’s next club continues to be a point of discussion while  Victor Boniface & Nathan Tella picked up from where they left off last season by winning the German Super Cup on penalties against Stuttgart after Boniface opened the scoring. Discovery of the week has to be new star Chrisantus Uche for Getafe who scored on his La Liga debut in a 1-1 draw at San Mames against Athletico Bilbao & he looks like one hell of a talent!
