We're back with a new episode of the True North Racing Podcast presented by Vision 20 Studios. This week on the program we invited Mike Thomson, driver of the #16 Ford Mustang in the Mini Stock Division at Flamboro Speedway. Before bringing Mike in, Jon and Megan talked about what Megan has been up to the past couple weeks including a Dr. Pepper while Bridesmaids shopping. Jon talked about some Vintage Modifieds news as the #14 of Scott Tonelli got a new power plant in his hot rod for the 2023 season. Rodney Rutherford putting a new body on his #24 machine. As well as TJ Marshall working hard to get his new car ready for opening season. Body work is done and just about ready for paint. It was time to bring the this weeks guest Mike Thomson. We learned about Mike and how he got involved in racing from starting out with his brother racing enduros at Merrittville and Humberstone before taking their talents to Delaware. 2022 marked the first full time season for Mike Thomson behind the wheel of a stock car. Mike competed in all Mini Stock events at Flamboro Speedway securing two wins and finishing second in points. We had a great conversation with Mike and we don't want to spoil too much of it.
