Episode 90- Robert Drysdale
from The BJJ Power Hour · host Chris Waters
Robert Drysdale is one of the greatest Jiu-Jitsu athletes ever, and I had the amazing pleasure of speaking with him for a few minutes on not only his book Opening The Closed Guard, but also about his journey through Jiu-Jitsu, his upbringing, and got to hear some really cool stories about the early years of training under Leonardo Vieira. It was not only an honor, but a pleasure to have him on, and I cannot wait to do it again soon! Closed Guard Film – This film traces the journey of Japanese martial arts to Brazil, telling the stories of lesser-known characters whose contributions were instrumental in the development of what would become known as “Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.”
