Episode 90 with Jasmin Brown , PA and her expertise in Urological cancer

Ms. Jasmine Brown hails from the great state of Maryland where she spent most of her childhood. She was born into a military family (Go Navy!) She attended the University of Maryland-Eastern Shore, a historically black college or university, and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. She then furthered her studies by obtaining a Master of Physician Assistant Studies in June 2021 from the University of Florida. She has been employed with the Department of Urology for 2.5 years. Ms. Brown has a passion for health disparities and proper education of patients to empower them to make knowledge-based decisions. She is active in the education of upcoming medical professionals and serves as an alum interviewer for UF School of Physician Assistant Studies. Her responsibilities include care for a multitude of urologic conditions, but she specializes in Oncology and Female Urology. She additionally enjoys bedside assisting in the operating room for robotic surgical cases.
