We need to get to a place where we don’t internalize the failing and believe that we, ourselves, are a failure as a result of failing. Failing is inevitable on the journey to success. On our weight loss and fitness journeys, we often have unrealistic expectations for how quickly we will see results or perform at an elite level. But, in order to get to elite, you have to start at truly terrible and be will to stay there for a while.
