Episode 92: The Last Ones aka Last Ones Out

from The Undead Symphony · host Darren

Send us Fan MailOh this one wound me up big time. A South African zombie movie from 2018 where the main character is a blonde blue eyed American (played by a South African). It had a few good scenes but a lot of it is stolen from other sources, for example, main character is in operating theatre during the outbreak and wakes up hospital, is also wearing scrubs for a chunk of it, etc.It is let down by setting itself in Southern African (whatever that is), having an obnoxious white American central character, that lies to the local people trying to save him and themselves, several times, and some things that just don't make any sense such as:Not wiping bright red blood off your face for the 5 days over which the movie is set Not arming yourself with anything more than a single crowbarNot even looking for food or water for 5 daysNot checking houses for food, water, weapons, suppliesNot getting in the convoy despite the vehicles being emptyThe convoy having no  guards, and one person per vehicleHenry's GF from being a bit of a bimbo and being evacuated to running the convoyOnly taking a GPS and a flare from the convoy and not food, water, weaponsI apologise in advance for the rant this movie review became5.5/10
