Dr. Pyda is currently located in Gainesville, Florida. Her primarily work at HCA North Florida as a Hospitalist Physician and she is also part of the GME family medicine residency program where her function as Core Faculty Assistant Professor precepting in the clinic working with the residents that she is involved within the residency program.She went from being the physician to the patient when she self detected a lump in her breast at the age of 30 years old and diagnosed with cancer at the age of 31. It all happened at a pivotal moment in her life when she was preparing to finish her residency training, take boards, and start the next chapter of her life transitioning to an attending.
