Episode 93 - Two Recent Overlooked Anniversaries

This time out Andy and Mike cover two more recent books. How can recent Batman comics be overlooked? Well, the guys get into that and Hush 2 comes up once or twice.  (Note: This episode was recorded in September and since that time the Hush 2 issue Andy and Mike talk about has been delayed even further. Odd that.) Anyway, the first book the guys talk about is Detective Comics #1100. The bulk of the conversation about this issue is the first story and a lot of ground is covered. Batman's role in Gotham, why the Internet meme of Bruce Wayne doing more good donating to social causes rather than beating criminals is crap, Mike's love of dogs, Andy's wife's love of dogs, and so much more. They also talk about why they love Greg Rucka and why the last story should have been put somewhere else in the issue. After that is a conversation about the main story from Batman #150. It was weird how both issues came together themematically. It's almost like Andy and Mike planned it that way. Which they didn't.
