But after witnessing his mother's tears in a courtroom as he was being sentenced, he made the most pivotal decision of his life: to leave the streets behind and become the first in his family to serve his country by joining the Navy. Today, Donnie shares his message of inspiration, accountability, and hope with youth, parents, educators, and veterans through his powerful motto: "I Am The Message."
