Episode 94: Only the Shadow Knows
from The Gene Pool Variety Hour! Hosted by Sean & Connor McKay
Episode 94: Only the Shadow Knows Man, we had a train wreck of audio this episode. Drops and mics off oh my! Maybe it had something to do with Connor "pre-gaming" hard even before we went live! Cleaned it up pretty well, but I'm no audio engineer! Long conversations about upcoming preorders and a commentary on the increasing cost of video games! Connor wants to talk about video games that have influenced your life. Sean has a difference of opinion on what "influence" means, but a good conversation nonetheless! In our Roll for Credits segment, we dive into the 2018 Chinese martial arts drama, Shadow. Beautiful cinematography, well written and acted, but still something just seemed off - maybe it was plot gaps. Well worth the watch however. Check out our thoughts! And as always, geekery, video games, and chickens. Lots of chickens. Thanks for listening, and make sure to give us a 5-star review on your favorite podcasting service!
