Episode 94 | Pemby Trail Festival | Strive Season Starts | Tom Radonic

from WA Running Podcast · host The WARP

Monday 20th October 2025 Simon's back on hosting duties with Vici this week joined by Tom Radonic, a local Perth ultra runner fresh off his recent challenge “Mund Everest” - comprising of 42 laps of Australia's toughest parkrun course Mundy Regional Park parkrun (210km and the equivalent elevation of Mount Everest). The challenge was in honour of Jeff Hansen - a pillar of the trail and parkrun community who very sadly passed away from Leukemia. Tom has already raised an incredible $13k for the Leukemia Foundation.  In local results, we had the Pemby Trail Festival, and the first Strive Meet of the season with Program A that included the 400m and 1500m We find out whether we can run as fast as Adam Kopp, whether Vici should go see Mariah Carey or run 25 laps in Cannington this Friday, we might finally hear about Jack Daniels in Vici’s verbalisations, we debate on whether a PB is real if it's not in a legitimate race, and we shout out Holly Ranson for her 24hr run and Luke Taylor running for Prem babies who are this week's weapons of WARP.  Donate to the Jeff Hansen Challenge: https://fundraise.leukaemia.org.au/fundraiser/tomradonic1631  Donate to Luke Taylor's Running for Premature Babies https://www.runningforprematurebabies.com/fundraisers/lukestreadmillworldrecordrun/lets-celebrate    Reach out and connect!
