She does mention that it is a completely different experience from playing and knows that everything is a learning experience.  When Crystal was 3 she began playing baseball and at about ten to eleven years old she transitioned over to softball. throughout her career she has met a lot of people that have helped keep her motivated and playing for the love of the game. Crystal, mostly known as a power hitter, actually began in softball as a slapper.
