Duncan designed the anchor after being frustrated at losing anchors when getting them stuck on reefy bottom while fishing the Queensland coast where he lives. The anchor has a breakaway system, meaning when the anchor is stuck, extra motor pressure will collapse the anchor via a shear pin, releasing it from the reef; it can then have a new shear pin inserted and can be used again straight away!
