Episode # 95 "Dive In and Dig Deep" with guest speaker Amber (the Bible Teacher)

Welcome to the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast I am your host, Jackie Brindle. You are listening to episode # 95! We all play different roles in life. And no matter what role we play, God has a way of being in the middle of it all! He’s in the role I play as a parent, sibling, wife, teacher, neighbor, and so on. We all wear different hats. We all need help on the days we are stretched thin and weary. That’s the truth of it all. But knowing that God is in the middle of whatever role we find ourselves in, is the hope that moves us onward. Amber, the Bible Teacher, and founder of Equipping Arrows does just that. She’s married, is raising 4 adorable kids, and homeschooling them. Amber also is a writer, speaker, and fun fact — has a backyard farm! She wears a lot of hats but melts her love for Christ into all that she does. But how is she able to do that? Spending time in the Bible helps her to do that so she can pour into others, in her everyday life. Amber is passionate about teaching others about studying the Bible. SO FUN!  We chatted out ways, with Amber, that will help us all, to engage with the text, understand the text, pursue the relationship with Christ that we have, and to write down some practical tips that will encourage us all to not give up. —--To encourage us all to keep on “seasoning” ourselves so we don’t get “flavorless.” (if that makes sense) Amber lights a fire in all of us to desire to study the word, without 'spoon feeding' us, but to encourage us to figure out the truth for ourselves!  Friend, sometimes reading the Word can feel daunting, overwhelming, and hard to grasp.
