Episode 95: Feeling Guilty For Doing Well

from The Speaking Out on Sex Abuse Podcast · host Jimmy and Clara Hinton

Do you ever feel guilty for doing well? If so, you're not alone. Several people have expressed to us that they feel guilty, or are made to feel guilty, for posting that they are doing well. In times of crisis especially, people can be short-fused with people who express encouraging news. While we don't fully understand this phenomenon, we are sympathetic to those who are doing well and are fearful of telling others. We hope this episode can be an encouragement to those who are silently struggling.
