In today’s episode Elaine chats with Scottish-Palestinian actor Amira Al Shanti. We discuss her road into the industry, the power of the arts. Being the daughter of refugees and much more. Another wonderful episode with an inspiring woman. AMIRA AL SHANTI Amira Al Shanti is an emerging singer-actor represented by Infinity Artists Management. Her most recent appearances include ensemble in the Rumi musical concept album and has a featured voiceover in Adam with National Theatre of Scotland. Amira is currently filming Said the Dove to the Olive Tree with Interabang Productions and the Persecution of Witches in Folklore Shorts. Her previous work includes Deloris in Sister Act with Captivate Theatre, Aida in Aida with Glasgow Live Productions and Joanna Trout in Dear Brutus with Threepenny Theatrical. She has previously worked with The Vintage Girls and Little Mix Magic, and spends the occasional weekend dressing up as Princess Jasmine and Moana with Wish Upon a Star Entertainment.
