Episode 96: Dear Future Me (The Overcomers Series) - Part 9 with Robyn Hock

from Empowered Heart to Heart · host Dr. Rhonda Simmons

Listen as Robyn shares her story about being in an abusive marriage for 16 years to her first husband. Although Robyn thought her second husband was the love of her life, she shares about him having an affair and leaving her for another woman. She was broken but picked up the pieces, moved 500 miles away to start a new life, healed, wrote a book, and started a new career. Now, Robyn is a huge advocate for not allowing our negative circumstances to determine our outcomes. She believes in the power of positive thinking, setting goals and our ability to achieve those goals. Robyn had this final thought to share with everyone: If I were to write a letter to my future self I would tell myself, ¨I'm proud of you¨. You overcame many obstacles, and you did it with grace. You sought personal growth through every opportunity and used your experience to make a positive change in your own life and the lives of others. You were brave and bold and not even knowing how it would all pan out, you tried.  You can reach out to Robyn on Instagram @robynmichelle007.
