Episode 96: Rope Strong

This week we talk about Joseph Samuels, a criminal who was sentenced to be hung for a crime he did not commit. The day of the hanging, the rope broke, but they were quick to bring in another noose. We also talk about Joe Simpson, a climber who scales the west face of a mountain with his friend. When he falls and breaks his leg, his friend has to carefully help him down the treacherous mountain.
