Welcome to August and the next installment in Beyond Sunday’s ongoing Books of the Bible Series. We’re taking a break from the narrative plot and getting some instruction from the book of Leviticus. The Israelites are living as free people and traveling through the wilderness to the land God promised to Abraham. But in Leviticus we step out of that motion to get some instructions from God on how these people are called to live now that they are freed to be God’s chosen people.
