iBeenThePenn is a New York artist who ultimately is aiming to bring back the real emotion and feel of true R&B! This week he joined the podcast to discuss how he’s doing it with his new music specifically the lead single “Have Mercy” from his upcoming debut solo effort “Unorthodox”. From his early childhood where his dreams of being an artist took flight leading him to find his voice to joining a duo called WriteTime and seemingly almost falling out of love entirely with music around the time of the pandemic. But with new life and momentum he’s taking the leap into a new chapter of his career documenting it via a YouTube vlog series where he’s showing fans his recording process and telling the stories behind the new tracks that have him energized and inspired once more.
