You may have only heard of this film from a snarky Oscars joke, but this Demi Moore/Viggo Mortensen picture is the real deal. We talk about the revelatory Moore performance; its feminist chops; Ridley doing Tony; and the jingoistic and questionable politics, particularly as it exists as a piece of pre-9/11 ephemera.
