Our featured guest this week is Sam Willard of Harper's Haberdashery, one of the finest places in Baton Rouge to shop for the look that makes you, you. Sam has been in the clothing business in Baton Rouge for years and years. His skillset can be traced back to his first job as a salesman, but wanting something more. While some people take the leap of faith into entrepreneurship in order to leave the steadiness of the 9-5, same left the 9-5 because his outlook was that being an entrepreneur gave him the ability to create that level of steadiness he desired. Along the way he was able to learn how to deal with customers and work with budgets of all sizes. While some haberdashers may work to up sell in order to earn that commission, Sam's one goal is making you feel as good as you look in your clothes. Sam sure does know his way around the Baton Rouge community and during this episode you'll learn all about his story of starting with nothing to creating his very own haberdashery.
