Episode 97: The Rake Review (A double book epi!)

from Chick Lit Book Club Podcast · host Chick Lit Book Club Podcast

It’s a double episode tonight, ladies and gentlemen! Last year, Tracy Sumner threw out the idea of getting some historical romance authors together and we were absolutely psyched about it. It took awhile to get schedules together, but we’ve finally nailed it. We’re focusing on The Rake Review series, specifically The Fake February Rake Charlie Lane and An Heiress for August by Kathleen Ayers, although there are 12 total that are being released on the first of every month in 2024. As an extra special treat, you can go to our YouTube channel and check out an interview with four of the authors from the anthology (Tabetha Waite, Kathleen Ayers, Charlie Lane, and Tracy Sumner). Also discussed: Veronica’s first book signing, spooky season, and f*cking COVID.Up next: The Kraken Games by Lilith StoneWhat We’re Reading:Awakening the Forgotten Goddess - Rebekah SinclairGhosts of Halloween - Layla FaeMy Orc (Fake) Boyfriend - Veronika KaneWhat We’re Listening To:Kitchen Nightmares (Thank you for keeping me sane, Gordo)Veronica’s upcoming signings (preorder form here):Legendary Book Bash - SeptemberSHOW INFORMATION: Join the DiscordFollow us on Spotify!
