After graduation, he pursued the improv scene, through Theatre Sports to refine his spontaneous performance skills. This early experience laid the groundwork for his entry into stand-up comedy. Throughout the 80s and early 90s, he toured across Canada with the comedy club chain Yuk Yuk's, establishing a national reputation.After a hiatus from the entertainment industry, Jamie returned with a renewed zeal under the stage name Sebastian Steel. He quickly gained acclaim with his comedy/hypnosis show and is recognized as one of Canada's leading hypnosis comedy acts.In addition to his performance career, Jamie has garnered accolades as a Canadian artist.
