Welcome back to a new week of the True North Racing Podcast! This week we welcome the 2022 Pure Stock Champion of Flamboro Speedway Reece Bourgeois. Before bringing in Reece, Jon and Megan would break down their weekends. Megan would breakdown her brother Chase as he returns to the seat after taking off the 2022 season. Though it was a new car, MRC Racing through it back to their ride from the 2021 season. Bringing in Reece we would talk about getting her start in racing. From sitting up in the stands cheering on her favourite drivers to convincing her mom to let her race. After a bad wreck in 2019 that would sidelined Reece for the year and with COVID hitting. Reece would have to wait until the 2021 season to run a full season. Reece would talk about her beginnings, learning through adversity as well championship run in 2022. As we let Reece go, Jon and Megan would talk about the conversation with Reece. Jon went go off taking a long time to explain why he didn't go to a race track this summer. Jon and Megan would sign us off for another week. That does it for Episode 98 of the True North Racing Podcast for this week.
