Episode 98: The Kraken Games by Lilith Stone

from Chick Lit Book Club Podcast · host Chick Lit Book Club Podcast

This week we’re clinging to the Olympics by reading The Kraken Games by Lilith Stone! Luna is the first human to have ever entered the Kraken Games in Motham City. Kai is this year’s chosen kraken, who will have to fight every single entrant in order to win–and he must win if he’d like to bring honor back to his people. Last year’s kraken lost to an orc, and Kai has been told that losing is not an option. The only thing is…Luna and Kai met before the Games. And they had a *real* good time together, which is a problem because Luna hates kraken and kraken generally hate humans. Also discussed: Veronica’s upcoming book signing, Star Wars, and why the word “squishy” is only allowed in Finding Nemo.Up next: The Love Lie by Kay MarieWhat We’re Reading:Reclaiming the Forgotten Goddess - Rebekah SinclairReclaiming Kate - Mary WarrenMy Orc Next Door - Veronika KaneWhat We’re Listening To:Beating Heart - Laura PavlovConstant Stream of Meidas Touch/Luke Beasley/FarronBalancedVeronica’s upcoming signings (preorder form here):Legendary Book Bash - SeptemberSHOW INFORMATION: Join the DiscordFollow us on Spotify!
