Episode 98: What about people who can't wear masks?

from The Speaking Out on Sex Abuse Podcast · host Jimmy and Clara Hinton

Jimmy recently wrote a blog post about survivors of abuse who cannot wear a mask because of their past trauma. Many of these survivors are being harshly judged and bullied for not wearing masks in public. They're being called "selfish, lazy, #CovidStupid," etc. In this episode, we talk about reasons why people may not be able to wear a mask, even in places where it is required. We hope this episode will shine a light on the bullying and our hope is that people are more compassionate towards our neighbors who may be struggling.
