Episode 99 - Finish Well

Welcome to Daily Growth Point, I’m Pastor John Bingham.In 2 Samuel, David’s desire to finish well was recorded for us. He knew that faithfulness was an area he needed help from God. He requested that God would make his feet like “hinds’ feet.” In other words, he wanted God to direct his steps, to lead him on to a sure footing and to not wander away from God’s will for his life. In other words, He wanted to Finish Well!The Hymn “Come thou Fount” Captures our tendency to drift:O to grace how great a debtordaily I’m constrained to be!Let that grace now, like a fetter,bind my wandering heart to thee.Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it,prone to leave the God I love;here’s my heart; O take and seal it;seal it for thy courts above.It is a constant and consistent desire for Christ that allows us to finish well in this life.
