Episode 99: Flexen Watch
from Five and Dive Hosted by Bret Sayre
In Episode 99, Emmaand Craig discuss five mostly baseball topics. 1. Winter Isn't Coming: Nothing much happened at the "Winter Meetings," so settle in for a lot of Chris Flexen chat. 2. The Only Rule is it has to be a player who were 18 or younger on the June 5 preceding their signing and this is the fifth Rule 5 draft upcoming; or were 19 or older on the June 5 preceding their signing and this is the fourth Rule 5 draft upcoming: If you hadn't already guessed, it's our Rule 5 draft review. 3. Invitation Only: We finally know the 120 teams that have been "invited" to be in the minor leagues next season. We still have questions. 4. It's Partially Sunny in Philadelphia: We've gone from trying to trade Zack Wheeler to bringing in a President of Baseball Operations who will trade for more Zack Wheelers. Zacks Wheeler? 5. Thanks I Hate it / Thanks I Love It: Peleton is in the news again, as is the New York Times...sigh...Styles section.
