Send us Fan Mail Do you ever think that you could be one decision away from living a completely different life? Now the word different can bring about various connotations, but ultimately the choice is yours. For Aliyah, making the decision to drive from North Carolina to Atlanta to secure all types of fabric from her grandparents is something she will NEVER regret. It allowed for her to not only branch off into a more creative side of art, but strengthened her love for what she was already doing and motivated her to apply more pressure. On top of that, she was granted a residency which allowed her to secure her own studio at Artspace in downtown Raleigh. Now more than ever, it is so important to support your local artists and creatives and Aliyah's work continuously speaks for itself. Tune in to episode 99 as she explains the process to putting her paintings on quilts, teases some upcoming collaborations with a North Carolina favorite and much more!
