In 2005, Seavey became the youngest musher to ever compete in the Iditarod at age 18, and at age 25 became the youngest to ever win the storied race. Seavey went on to win 4 more races in 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2021 tying him with 5-time winner Rick Swenson. Dallas has also had success worldwide winning Canada's Yukon Quest and competing in Norway's FinnmarkslopetOutside of competing, Seavey also owns and manages his own breeding program where he trains and raises the finest Alaskan Huskies.
