Episode Five - Rali's Story

from Moments of Clarity · host momentsofclaritypodcast

Today on Moments of Clarity, I have a conversation with my friend Rali. Rali is a freelance filmmaker and moved to Australia as a refugee when he was 18. I was fascinated and touched by Rali's openness to tell his story. A story of trauma, loss, pain, statelessness, migration, hope and appreciation. Moments of Clarity aims to open up the hearts and minds of people through stories told by everyday people about their values, experiences and perspectives. Although this conversation can be perceived as political in nature, it was simply the story of a man who is sharing his lived experience. As always, I share these conversations with positive intentions. My name is Barney and if you enjoy this episode, please subscribe, leave a review and share.   Music By Christian Prochilo   Artwork By Michael Chrisanthopoulos   Link to a book suggested by Rali: NO FRIEND BUT THE MOUNTAINS: WRITING FROM MANUS PRISON by Behrouz Boochani Translated by Omid Tofighian https://www.panmacmillan.com.au/9781760555382/
