Episode One: Sex, Poetry and PhD Life with Tenille Campbell

from Radicle Narrative · host Mylan Tootoosis

In this episode, I sit down with my friend Tenille Campbell. Tenille is a Dene/Métis author and photographer from English River First Nation, SK. She completed her MFA in Creative Writing from UBC and is enrolled in her Ph.D. at the University of Saskatchewan. Her inaugural poetry book, #IndianLovePoems (Signature Editions, 2017) is an award-winning collection of poetry. We sit down and talk about Indigenous Erotica and Sexuality, Indigenous Academia in the COVID times, and transitioning from rez kid life to Ph.D. Lifers (we're still rez kids tho).  You don't get to hear Indian love poems in this episode, so buy the book.  Show Notes:  Personal Website Her book Indian Love Poems
