Lia Mills is a novelist, short story writer, and essayist from Dublin. Her first novel Another Alice was published in 1996. She has since published two other novels: Nothing Simple (2005) and Fallen (2014). In 2006, Lia wrote a journal piece called The crab for The Dublin Review about being diagnosed and treated for oral cancer, she went on to write a memoir on the subject called In Your Face. Lia has been contributing to The Dublin Review since 2005.
