Manuela Valle-Castro (she/they) is a Chilean activist and scholar of Mestiza background who has been a guest to Turtle Island since 2005 and to Treaty 6 since 2015. They hold a Ph.D. in Gender, Race, Sexuality and Social Justice at UBC and a Masters in Women's and Gender Studies from the same university. Manuela is a resident of the core-neighbourhood and the Coordinator of the Anti Racism Network.
