This week's episode features the amazing, talented and ridiculously smart baker/entrepreneur Allison Kave. Owner and head pie genius at First Prize Pies, Allison is also one half of Butter & Scotch (with partner Keavy Landreth) and thanks to a successful Kickstarter campaign, they will be opening Brooklyn's first Craft Cocktail and Dessert Bar in 2014. In addition to discussing her upcoming cookbook First Prize Pies, Allison and I talk about having famous brothers respectively and how hers had a close brush with death thanks to an Asian hornet sting while traveling around Vietnam.
