Prior to this role, she served for six years at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Cathedral in Jackson, Mississippi, first as Canon and then as Vicar. She began her ordained ministry as Curate at St. Columb’s Episcopal Church in Ridgeland, Mississippi. Katie holds a B.A. in History from Birmingham-Southern College and a J.D. from Mississippi College School of Law. She practiced law for several years, serving as a judicial staff attorney and public defender. In 2015, she earned her Master of Divinity from the School of Theology at Sewanee: The University of the South.
