In celebration of Earth Day and the blooming buds sure to soon hit the North Country, host Anastasia is exploring the connections between food and our environment for this episode of That’s Rad. To do this, she recruited Kris Pieper, Food Access Coordinator for Taproot in Lancaster, NH. Together, Kris and Anastasia discuss how food, the environment, and we who live in it all impact one another. Kris also shares more about the Taproot initiatives he runs, including gleaning and the Lancaster Community Garden. And yes, the word they’re saying is gleaning–not cleaning.
