You might not always remember your member number at the Co-op, but Mike Claflin will never forget his. Don’t worry, we didn’t just raffle the number one away while asking everyone else to remember a four or five digit combination. Mike is one of the most recognized and often cited names in the founding of the Co-op, and our host Anastasia had the privilege to sit with him to hear stories from those early days you won’t find anywhere else. The Co-op was originally going to be where? There was going to be a *what* on the property? Who did you first think of to run the store?
