Episode XXIX - Latitude Zero

In Episode XXIX, the first film of Japanese sub movie month, the crew dives deeper into the 1969 Japanese submarine film Latitude Zero directed by Ishiro Honda, starring Joseph Cotton, Cesar Romero, Akira Takarada, Masumi Okada, Richard Jaeckel, Patricia Medina, and Linda Haynes. What started as a safe scientific trip quickly takes a turn into something much greater as an oceanographer, a reporter, and a geologist are rescued and brought to an underwater utopia, Latitude Zero. Life isn’t all perfect at Latitude Zero because the evil Dr. Malic is trying to sabotage everything they do. It’ll be up to Captain Craig McKenzie and his crew to rescue a scientist from Dr. Malic’s monstrous creations at Blood Rock.
