Episode Zero

from Whistle the Feast · host JJJaspersen Studios

Many moons ago, host Jason Jaspersen teamed up with the Kratz sisters (Lydia and Norah) to determine in the most meta of fashions how a potential spring semester podcast was going to look. In the late hours of the night on a random Thursday, the three sat in the Bethany Lutheran College podcast studio to determine the name, theme, and stance of a podcast that they'd hope to continue throughout the following months. Enjoy the process that many artists go through when first beginning a project, and stay tuned this fall for Season II of Whistle the Feast!Shout Outs from the Episode:Prof. Brian KlebigAbby SkorenkyiColin Neville & Maida Jaspersen-Neville Helpful Links to References in the Episode:Mise en PlaceThe Ladder of AbstractionMad LibsI Sing the Body Electric by Walt WhitmanSacred the Thread by Greta van FleetLe FestinBabette's FeastWanderer Above the Sea FogThe Writer's AlmanacBrooklyn SupremeA New Soul by Yael NaimTournament Seeds1 Seed2 Seed3 Seed4 SeedHost - Jason JaspersenCo-hosts - Norah Kratz, Claire Marcus, Silas GawrischProducer - Jaksyn GrahamMusic Provided By: Renee GevingIf you have any feedback for the show, or have any questions you can reach the podcast at [email protected] the Feast is recorded on the campus of Bethany Lutheran College in association with the Christ in Media Institute.
