Episode Zero - The Call

Ladies and gentlemen. Take control. Take control of your mind. Your mind is the instrument of your liberation. Have you noticed how you and those around you shrink away into the background? You’ve been told that your inquisitive nature is disrupting. You’ve been told that seeking clarity and answers will only make you look incompetent, foolish, or weak. You’ve been told that your dissatisfaction with slipshod excuses and incomplete explanations makes you the problem and that you are the one to blame. Perhaps you really are to blame. Perhaps your silent resignation is what gives the masses power over you. The masses have led you to believe that your inaction in the face of intellectual invasion is virtuous. They have convinced you that your sacrifice is justice. As your resolve declines, theirs grows. The longer you hide, the louder their voices become, and then you will begin to join them. They will tell you that your thoughts are your enemy and that they will protect you from your capacity to think. They have that power. Do you know why? You gave them that power. Your enemies called for your silence and subjugation to their will, and you thought it was noble. They said that if you thought and spoke for yourself, you are problematic, assertive, or uncaring, and they made you feel ashamed. They denounced the Great Works as old-fashioned, black-and-white, outdated relics; The Bible, The U.S. Constitution, The Wealth of Nations; and again, you agreed. Then you ask, how has the world gotten to the way it is? Where are our values? Where has our self-respect gone? Perhaps this is your fault. You did this. Your achievements, self-respect, values, and voice all flow from your creative mind. Once you understand that the attempt to control your voice is to control your mind, then what will you do? TAKE IT BACK Take back your mind. Take back your thoughts. Take back your voice, your values, your self-respect, and your achievements. Find your voice in the chaotic cacophony. Find your values in a hedonistic world. Achieve greatness, even if they will not let you. The people that we reach are those who work for themselves, for their vision of what is possible, rebelling against the guilt, shame, and malice that the masses will try to make them feel for their achievements. The people we reach are those who have had enough of being punished for their own virtues. To aid the silent heroes into finding their voices, to speak freely, knowing full well that there will be adversity and anguish and fear, but to face it head-on. Your life is a sacred possession to love. If you want to live by the judgment of your own mind and not by edicts of the masses, then follow our lead. Do not support your own oppressors. Stop letting them exploit you. The crumbling world you live in is the world that the shouting masses wanted. The world that you and I want is a better world of freedom, opportunity, and mutual recognition. In that world, you will awaken with the spirit of eagerness, discovery, and adventure that you knew in childhood and the confidence that the world is real and for you to discover and explore. You will not receive alms, pity, nor forgiveness of sins, but honor, respect, and justice in that world. Do not let your soul be extinguished in confusion and despair. Be sure of your path. The world you and I desire can be won. It exists. It is yours.
